ALBERT HOWARD NOEL
ASPEN, March 28 – Albert Howard Noel, 72,
died suddenly at his home at Waternish, Guys. Co.
on Sunday afternoon, March 23.

Born in Carboneer, Nfld. In 1925 he went to the United States
and was employed as a printer for Atlantic Register Co.
for many years. He resided in Waltham for 20 years.

He married Gertrude Demmons of Smithfield, Guys. Co.,
who also worked in Waltham.

Upon their retirement six years ago they purchased the home of
Mrs. Arthur Priest, at Waternish. They resided there ever since.
He was very interested in fishing and hunting.

He was a member of Waltham Masonic Lodge in Waltham.
On Monday evening Queen Lodge No. 34, A.F. & A.M.,
conducted a Masonic funeral service at the Veinotte Funeral Parlors at Sherbrooke.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Demmons Noel;
also by three brothers, Harold, Reginald and Worley,
all of Newfoundland; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Snow
of Newfoundland and Mrs. Delilah Batts of Massachusetts.

The funeral service was held from Campbell Presbyterian Church
at Stillwater. The service was conducted by I. Frank Canning, minister.

Pallbearers were Basil Whidden, Lachlin Weir, Hugh MacDonald,
Bert Weir, Sidney MacIntosh and Vincent McKeen.

Internment was in the Stillwater Cemetery.
