MACINTOSH, ARNOLD JAMES -- 75,
Waternish, Guysborough Co., died Thursday, December 17, 1998
in St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late
Gordon and Marie (Whidden) MacIntosh.
He was a veteran of the Second World War
and up until his retirement was employed with
St. Mary’s District School Board and Sherbrooke Village.

He is survived by his wife, the former Joyce Smith;
son, Gordon (Susan Armitage), Dartmouth;
daughters, Marg (Terry Roode), Truro;
Arlene (Vernon) Bingley, Fishermans Harbour;
Joan (Chuck) Parker, Lower Sackville, grandchildren,
Cara and Kenda Bingley, Kelsey Parker;
brothers Tom, Russell, and sister Margaret McAllister.

He was predeceased by sisters, Shirley Gardiner,
Joan Provost. His remains are resting at
H.W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater, where funeral service will be held
today at 2 p.m., Rev. Larry Welch officiating.
Burial will be in Waternish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory
may be made to St. Mary’s Hospital, Sherbrooke,
or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
