Leonard David Davidson

ECUM SECUM Feb 18 –
The funeral of Leonard Davidson, tragedy victim of Montague Gold Mines,
was held in St. Barnabas Church here Friday Feb. 10.

The funeral service was conducted by Rev. W.G. Meadus
and the pallbearers were as follows:
Donald Snow, Huburt Shrider, Forrest Pace, Jock Sutherland,
Willis Hope and Arthur Rawding.

The hymns sung at the house were “Life’s Railway to Heaven”
and at the church, “One Sweetly Solemn Thought”
“In the Sweet Bye and Bye” and “Lead Kindly Light”
and at the grave, “The Old Rugged Cross.”

Many lovely floral offerings were received
from friends and relatives. The large attendance
besides twenty of his fellow workmen from Montague Gold Mines,
showed the esteem in which the late Leonard David Davidson was held.
