JORDAN, Margaret Vaughn – 62,
Indian Harbour Lake, Guysborough County, formerly of Lantz,
died Thursday in St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late
Hugh and Margaret (Ross) Graves.
She was a member of St. Thomas Anglican Church, Indian Harbour Lake,
and a retired caterer having been employed with Oakfield Golf and Country Club
for more than 17 years. She is survived by her husband,
Murray, six sons, Wilfred, Robert, both of Enfield, Warren, Halifax,
Vernon, Oakfield; Archie, Vancouver; Harley Dutch Settlement; four daughters,
Deborah (Mrs. Gary Jordan), Wendy (Mrs. Robert Weagle), both of Lantz;
Terry (Mrs. Howard Roddey), Milford Station; Tammy Jordan, Lower Sackville;
two brothers, Richard, Bridgewater; Hugh, New Glasgow;
five sisters, Shirley Corkum, Chester; Gloria Jean Ernest, Blockhouse;
Helen Vickers, Vancouver; Lila Sanders, Gays River; Dr. Karole Selig,
California; 19 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by a son and two daughters in infancy.
The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be
2 p.m. Monday in St. Thomas Anglican Church,
Indian Harbour Lake, Rev. David Curry officiating.
Donations may be made to St. Thomas Anglican Church or
Indian Harbour Lake Community Hall Building Fund.
