New Glasgow - GERALD CAVANAGH GRANT, 46,
of 101 George St., New Glasgow, died Monday at home.
Born in St. Francis Harbour, he was the son of
Mrs. HAZEL(Smith) GRANT and the late FRANCIS A. GRANT.
He was a carpenter with Hawker Siddeley Ltd., Trenton.
Surviving besides his mother are; his wife,
the former ANNA MATHESON; three daughters,
VIVIAN(Mrs. Bill Edwards), VERNA(Mrs. David Oakes) and BRENDA,
all of Hopewell; four grandchildren; four sisters,
MIRIAM(Mrs. Marvin Crittendon), Dartmouth; RUTH(Mrs.Paul Cassidy),
Swampscott, Mass; NANCY(Mrs.Keith Snider), Manchester;
CYNTHIA(Mrs. Leon Beaver), Dartmouth; three brothers, NEIL and GARNET,
both of St.Francis Harbour;ALLAN, Lower Sackville.
He was predeceased by two brothers in infancy.
The remains are resting at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysboro.
Funeral service was held today at 2p.m.
in Hadleyville United Church. Interment was
in Holy Trinity Anglican cemetery, Hadleyville.
