Sherbrooke - The death of WILLIAM A. PRYDE
occured at the home of his
daughter,
MRS. LESTER MacDONALD, Sherbrooke, on Thursday afternoon
after a
short illness.
Mr. Pryde was born at Halifax 84 years ago
but spent most of his life at
Sonora.
He is survived by three daughters,
MRS. R.S. ROBAR and MRS. STANLEY
STENNETT,
both of Kirkland Lake, and MRS.L. MacDONALD of Sherbrooke.
His
wife passed away last year, three weeks after
the couple had celebrated
their sixtieth wedding anniversary.
The funeral was held Saturday at the home of
Mrs. MacDonald conducted by
Rev.C.W. Passey, assisted by
Rev. Ralph Webber and Herman McGrath. Interment
was in Sonora Cemetery.
Pall bearers were James Golding, Matthew McGrath,
Lawson Fernandez,
Gordon Mailman, James Wood and William Dickson.
