COUNTRY HARBOUR WOMAN PASSES IN 85TH YEAR:

Cross Roads,Country Harbour -
On Thursday, Nov.17, MRS.NAOMI ANN BLACK
passed away after almost a year's illness.
She suffered a stroke at that time, and was bedfast ever since.
For five months she was a patient at St.Martha's Hospital, Antigonish,
after which time, one of her daughters, MRS.ROBINSON,
came from Massachusetts, moved her mother back to Country Harbour,
and tenderly cared for her until the end.
The late Mrs.Black was in her 85th year,
and until stricken, had enjoyed wonderful health
leading a most active life. Many of her earlier years,
both before and after marriage were spent in Mass., USA.
She was a daughter of the late DEBORAH(Bezanson)
and EBENEZER TAYLOR of Country Harbour Lake,
and the last living member of of the late Mr.and Mrs.Taylor's first marriage.

Her funeral was held on Saturday, Nov.19,
from the home of MRS.ZELLA MASON, Country Harbour Lake.
Service was conducted by Rev. D.S. MacLeod, United Minister.
Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery, Aspen,
beside her father and mother.

Surviving are three children, MRS. CARL NORDSTRUM(AGNES);
WALTER G. BLACK; and MRS.WILL ROBINSON(ELLEN);
all of Massachusetts; several grandchildren;
two half-sisters in Country Harbour; MRS.ZELLA MASON and MRS.MARIAN HUDSON.
