“I bet it would…But, I just broke up with Tom, I’m not ready to go out yet.” Sandra said a little down.
“Girl, I know you! You are too strong of a person to let a stupid guy like Tom bring you down!” Liz said
“Well, maybe I am not so strong after all!” Sandra said upset. Liz kept quite.
“Liz, look I’m sorry.” Sandra said feeling bad.
“No, it’s okay. You just don’t wanna go out. It’s understandable. Well, hope you have fun eating ice cream, doing your nails, and watching I Dream of Genie tonight. I’ll be home later. Bye.” Liz said.
“Wait!” Sandra yelled

“Damn it!” Sandra yelled
“Would you like to dance with me?” A tall blonde guy asked.
“Sure!” Liz said and took his hand.
As soon as they got close the guy started to talk.
“I’m Nick.”
“I’m Elizabeth but you can call me Liz.” Liz said.
“It’s nice to me you.” Nick said.
“Likewise…I’m sure.” Liz said.
They got closer and danced the whole night together. Liz and Nick tiptoed into the house at 3 in the morning.
“Shh! My room mate is sleeping.” Liz whispered.
“Yeah? What’s her name?” Nick asked in a whisper.
“Her name is Sandra…She was going to come tonight but she broke up with her boyfriend Tom lastnight and has a stick up her butt kind of an attitude.” Liz said.
“Make yourself at home I have to go get something.” Liz said.
“K hurry up!” Nick said.
Nick sat down on the couch and picked up what he thought was a magazine.
“Cool! A comic book!” Nick said.
:::Sniff, Sniff:::
Nick got up and looked around.
“Hello?” Nick asked.
“Who’s there?” Sandra asked.
“Nick, Nick Carter.” Nick answered.
“I don’t have a stick up my butt. I am suffering from a broken heart.” Sandra said walking into the light. Her eyes were puffy and her nose was a little red.
“Were you crying cause of what Liz said?” Nick asked.
“No, I’m crying cause I am being such a big baby about this whole stupid thing!” Sandra said.
“Oh…do you want to talk about it?” Nick asked.
“I won’t tell you the boring “tragic” details about my love life. But thank you…Besides it looks like You and Liz are gonna get something started so I’ll just go now…” Sandra said.
“Well, it was nice meeting you.” Nick said.
“It was nice meeting you too Nick. Goodnight.” Sandra said.
Sandra walked up the stairs and went to her bedroom.
“Hey beautiful!” Liz said to Nick.
“Hey…” Nick said thinking about Sandra.
“What’s wrong?” Liz asked.
“Oh, Nothing!” Nick said.

Liz looked up and saw Sandra walking down.
“Sorry, I just needed my comic book.” Sandra said.
“I never figured out why you liked those stupid comics!” Liz said.
“I like the art work and you know that I’ve always liked them cause I like to draw the characters!” Sandra said.
“You draw?” Nick asked with a big smile.
“I try.” Sandra said.
“And she dances, sings, writes poetry and short stories, she cooks, she knows how to speak in 4 different languages English not included.” Liz said getting annoyed.
“She sounds like she knows what she wants out of life.” Nick said not taking his eyes off of Sandra.
“No it sounds like she is confused and will spend months and months deciding what the hell she’s gonna do with her life.” Liz said.
“Yeah, whatever…Can I just have my comic book?” Sandra asked. Nick handed it to her and Sandra smiled and walked away.
“Okay, now where were we?” Liz asked.
“Oh crap! Can I use your phone?” Nick asked.
“Sure, Is everything all right?” Liz asked.
“Yeah, I was paged while you were gone.” Nick said.
“In that room.” Liz said.
“Thanks!” Nick said.
Nick walked into the room and closed the door behind him. He looked around and saw a stick ‘em paper by the phone.

Nick smiled and dialed the number.

“Tom will you please leave me alone? You cheated on me twice just let it be!” Sandra yelled into the phone very upset.
“Um…I’m sorry but you’re just too amazing to let me let you be…” Nick said.
“Who is this?” Sandra asked worried.
“This is Nick. I had to get away from Liz…She is driving me crazy so I lied and told her I had to make a phone call…So here I am in the den and I saw you had a personal number so I called…” Nick said.
“Well, I’ll be damned…” Sandra said as she took over her reading glasses with her free hand.
“What?” Nick asked.
“You just amaze me…Just think about it. You’re next one night stand is in the other room and you are trying to pick up on her best friend!” Sandra said and hung up.

“Please don’t hang up!” Nick said.
“Okay, you have 30 seconds.” Sandra said.
“Okay, you really amaze me and I want to get to know you! How about coffee with me tonight at the little café downtown?” Nick asked.
“I just broke up with my boyfriend…” Sandra said.
“Don’t worry it’s not a date or anything…” Nick reassured her.
“How about tomorrow I am really beat right now.” Sandra said.
“Can I come up?” Nick asked.
“Are you kidding me? Liz will kill me THEN kick me out of her house!” Sandra said.
“Please?” Nick asked.
“I guess…I’m the second door to your right when you go up the stairs.” Sandra said and hung up.
Nick walked out and saw Liz was passed out on the loveseat. Nick put a blanket over her and ran up the stairs.
“Come on in Nick…” Sandra said.
