This prop hub is made from 2 pieces.  The first piece is bolted to the crank where the flywheel would bolt.  The crank has been drilled and tapped to receive the safety shaft.

PROPHUB.JPG (33360 bytes)

This is the second part of the 2 part prop flange.    The keys and slots are mated together,  and a nut on the safety shaft is is tightened down

FRONT.JPG (70892 bytes)

This view shows the nut.

SIDE.JPG (61502 bytes)

Here is a side view,  showing the assembled hub.

REARVIEW.JPG (79960 bytes)

A very interesting view of the ring gear attached to a machined aluminum harmonic balancer.
