Miguel is 5 years old now! He is my "quite one", born deaf. Yet he is as normal as a little boy could be.He loves to play trains with his brothers and roll in the mud. Making messes is what he does best! Even though Miguel does not speak, he gets his message of love across to all who know him. He has a heart of gold, and a spirit that is big enough for all to share. Miguel knows sign language and uses it well. He is also learning Spanish Sign Language now! :O) His brothers all know sign and love talking to Miguel!

Miguel is learning to use his voice! He says, Mama, Pa, Martin, Rob and Pedro! Hearing him speak the first time was music to my ears!

Also, Miguel is started school this year. His teachers believe he is doing very good. He is truly coming along. We are very proud of him.
