About 2 years ago, Blizzard Entertainment stunned us all by creating StarCraft, a game that is now one of the top games that are played over the internet, and surely the top game of its time. Even now, 2 years later, millions of people play online, over networks, or just the very interesting single-player missions.
StarCraft has one of the best storylines of all PC/Mac games. Very few PC/Mac games have such an indepth and intriguing story. Not only did Blizzard give us an amazing story, but they also gave an amazing game. A well-made gameplay, well-balanced races, and many interesting units add to the game. It is definitely one of the best war-strategy games ever made, and will be for quite some time.

StarCraft: Brood War
StarCraft: Brood War was released about 1 year after StarCraft and was instantly a success. Thousands of StarCraft fans anticipated an add-on and got it. The add-on, however, was more than they had expected.
Brood War was everything a StarCraft fan had ever wished for. An addition to the already wonderful story, more interesting and, might I say, more awesome units and characters, and of course more single-player campaigns.
Even with the new units, Blizzard was amazingly able to keep the balance between the three races. After playing Brood War, I realized that add-ons to many previous war-strategy games made one side the definite more powerful than the other. Blizzard, however, was able to maintain the balance, while introducing characters such as the mysterious Dark Templar for the Protoss, the greatly needed medics for the Terrans, and the Lurker, first unit with the ability to attack while underground, for the Zerg.
For those that have not already bought Brood War, I highly recommend it. Hurry out to your nearest game store and get your copy today! You still get all the advantages of playing online with friends, and of course, with enemies.
