And so life is squandered in front of a computer...Well, so what
it if it is spent working on this web page? I have a right to do damn well
what ever I want, so I will! I don't ask for anything more.. yeesh.. leave
me alone. Everyone else is out getting drunk.. or sleeping.. or is at home.
Ever since I was a little computer nerd this tall. I was thinking
about this earlier, I've been on the Internet (well, actually a hacked
email account from El Heffe, thanks Jeff) for almost 4-5 years now, and
I've never had a web page.. In fact, when I started on the Internet, the
only thing that existed of the Internet was email and the only way to get
any kind of information you wanted was either to a) ftp it from gopher,
or b) chat with ppl on IRC who knew how to get you good dirty pics.. I
never did any of the above.. I just emailed. I emailed anyone I knew..
I remember the first time that Jeff told me that it's possible to see graphics
over the Internet, and that you could see people's home pages.. it was
megacool, running NCSA Mosaic 1.1, then later Netscape 1.1.. <sigh>
those were the days, when you couldn't change the page whilst downloading,
otherwise the download would halt.. and Netscape was so full of bugs it
would shut down.. which isn't that much different from now.. hmm..
Okay, now it's getting kinda sappy. now I'm officially a netizen.I
have a homepage.. well, actually, I've had one for a while, but I never
put anything on it.. so far as I know, no one knows about the changes to
it.. that's what the counter is for.. to lemme know who's on my page..
(-: Not that I mean it in a negative way, it's just I like to know who's
coming and going..
I think that the 2 hours of sleep that I had is catching up to me right
now.. I'm sitting and I'm tired. I think i'm going to shut up and finish
working on the page.
