The Lair of the Tadhg

Greetings, fellow Wanderer, and welcome to my website. My name is Lord Tadhg O'Murchadha the Wanderer, and I live in the Barony of Adiantum, which is a part of the Principality of the Summits, in An Tir (mundanely, I live in Eugene, Oregon). I like to travel all over the place (Wander), and I am always glad to meet someone else who enjoys a good wander as much as I do. My persona is that of a 12th Century Irish-Norman (with elements that are, for lack of a better term, purely Tadhg). Make yourself comfortable, and enjoy the stunning personal information that this site has to offer; or you could always just see what links I have and wander off again.

Within the SCA, I enjoy: volunteering (usually as either a herald or constable), fighting with the warband Drafn, even though they are in another kingdom (hey, I told you that I wander!), doing the ocassional bardic thing (see one of my poems here), carousing, and having a really good time. Currently, I am the baronial herald in Adiantum--which is turning out to be pretty darn cool, since my new home is such a fun place (insert shameless plug for Adiantum here). I hang out with many different households (because I like so many different kinds of people), but I have a special place in my heart for the Maison deSteele, mainly because they are such kind, generous folk (who put up with me during my years in Caid). I also have my own household: House Wanderer, which is an interesting assortment of freaks and wierdos (but I love them all). When I have to work in the mundane world, I prefer to work in the theatre, although I may have to do other work sometimes so I can eat...
