I had a horse for two months and his name is Dutch. He is a thoroughbred as well, but because he has sent me to the ER 3 times and broken two of my bones, my parents are unwilling to pay for him.
For another two months I leased a horse named Navigator. He's an ex-Grand Prix jumper and we are all baffled about what breed he is. He is an 17 hand black warmblood with a crescent moon shaped star. He's a big sweetie. But... another one bites the dust... he went lame too. He's at a wonderful place which is basically a retirement home for horses called The Golden Carrot . There are pics of him on my picture page.
In Decemberof 2001, I bought my first horse, Mack. I've taken him to a few shows and he's been great and not so great. I love him to death. He's a 15.2hh chestnut thoroughbred, and he's adorable. He's got this perfect straight blaze down the center of his face. It kind of looks like the person who spray painted him his red-orange color was holding a peice of a picket fence in front of his face. He's really good to me.
As you have probably figured out, my name is Stephanie. I grew up in San Pedro, California but I am currently residing in the dorms at Cal Poly Pomona. I'm an Animal Science major with an emphasis on Equine Science. I'm not sure what exactly I'll do with that degree, but hey, I can always go into sales...
On April 5, 2003, Jen and I went to a show at Chain Reaction in Anaheim. I wanted to see the Mad Caddies; she wanted to see Rise Against. We were both thrilled to have discovered the Real McKenzies. This is a picture we took with a couple of them after the show. Paul McKenzie (with the collar) instructed us to put on our best punk faces, but as you can see, we failed miserably because we were laughing so much.
