| What started as a scene assignment for a college playwrighting class grew into a full length theme-based play in the course of several weeks. The first draft of Nine Eleven, written in about two months, was presented in a reading in Nov. 2001. The respnse was overwhelming. Through a series of fateful twists, Matt found himself producing the play in early 2002. The production was riddled with problems from the start such as the lack of leads until the last weeks, financial issues, no permanant rehearsal space and many more challenges. The show opened to mixed reviews, but audiences loved the show and many came back a number of times. The script is now in a second rewrite. | |||
