Training is performed in N2394T which is a 1972 Cherokee 140 with full IFR instrumentation consisting of; dual nav/com, dual VOR/glideslope, marker beacon, DME, ADF, Mode C/ alt encoding xponder, digital fuel flow, fuel pressure, fuel remaining, 4 cyl EGT/CHT and handheld Garmin 90 GPS.
94T has been upgraded to 160 hp with MetCo Air wing tips, Knots2U wing root fairings, aileron, flap and trim tab gap seals and hinge fairings. Art Mattison vortex generators and prop tip camfering.
94T sports either a 62 inch cruise or the original 58 inch climb/cruise prop and factory air conditioning. All this making for an aircraft that stalls in the high 40's (mph), makes solid short approaches at 65, climbs full gross at 750 fpm and cruises at 120 @ 75% using 7.5 gph ( less at altitude ).
94T is rented at $63/hr wet or $40 dry. Flight Instruction is $25/hr
