June 11, 2003: It's been a while since the site has been updated. I've been busy with a music career of my own, but I had the time recently to go through the site, clean it up a bit, and add some new info. The boys are still touring and will be doing so throughout the rest of the year. The album is off the charts, as is Innocence. There is talk that Hootie wants the album back so they can take it to a label who will promote it. Atlantic has done nothing for the band since 1995 and it's beginning to take it's toll on the guys' career. It's unfortunate that a record label doesn't care about its own clients. Well, that doesn't change how great the album is. No word on what the second single is, but they are choosing from Space, I'll Come Runnin', The Rain Song, and Alright. I think Space would be the best choice, but that's just my opinion. OK, so the rest of the site now has lyrics to Back to Then, which I put off for a long time, plus some rare Darius songs. Also, I got Dean and Soni's song lyrics up too. Info about the new Handpicked CD is here, as is more info about Mark's producing adventures, complete with lyrics. Take a look and have a good day. Oh, and on the new music front, the band is releasing Disasterpiece Theatre, a collection of instrumental pieces to their site this summer so look out for that.
