Burnham Deepdale is one of the Burnhams just east of Brancaster Staithe. Its church has a fine circular tower. This church also served those who lived in Brancaster Staithe.

Robert Jickling, mariner, married Jane Grimes at Burnham Deepdale 7 Mar 1816.

William Jickling (1792-1858) of Brancaster Staithe, master mariner, died 30 Jun 1858. He is buried at Burnham Deepdale with his wife Ann (1791-1859) who died 5 Feb 1859.

George Jickling (1820-1886) is also buried at Burnham Deepdale. He died 21 Aug 1886. His wife Ann (1822-1904) is buried beside him.

Robert Jickling married Rebecca Gates at Burnham Deepdale 24 Jun 1828.
