BREAKING NEWS!!!

*In a recent interview, En Vogue spoke with reporters
about the status of Maxine Jones, their new member and what's in their future.
En Vogue are recording two new albums.  One is a Christmas album, and the second is the follow up to Masterpiece Theatre.  Their 5th full length album is due for a
2002 release.

En Vogue do not appear to be on a Record Lable yet. According to Terry Ellis, they are looking at possibilties and trying to make a good decision as to what Label to sign with.

Jones is seemingly no longer in the group, however, En Vogue say the door is always open for her to return.  Cindy Herron introduced Amanda Cole as their new member.  There was no discussion of a fourth member as of yet.

You can view the interview by clicking here!  It took place at the 7th Annual Lady of Soul Awards.

En Vogue recently appeared on the Lady of Soul Awards in Los Angeles.  Maxine didn't attend, however new member Amanda was present.  Rumour has that Maxine Jones has decided to call it quits with the group.  When recently asked at a concert about Maxine's status in the group, an En Vogue member replied "She has stuff to do with her child and store".  A clear answer was not given.  However, it has been said that there was an open mic. audition for a new fourth member.  So far this has remained ambiguous but, all signs are pointing strictly to motherhood where Jones is concerned.  The Realm will keep you updated with further developments.

In the meantime, you can see more pictures from recent performances in Gallery 6..

1992

En Vogue's sophomore LP, Funky Divas (released in March), spawned their first #1 hit, "My Lovin' (Never Gonna Get It)" and carried their success into the dance clubs
and onto the video screens. En Vogue broke new ground in video with their
futuristic "Free Your Mind" video and had hits with the remake of "Giving Him Something He Can Feel," "Love Don't Love You," and "Give It Up, Turn It Loose." The video for "My Lovin' (Never Gonna Get It)" won a MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography.

1993

Continued success was found in September with their EP, Runaway Love, and their
Top 10 hit "Runaway Love." Also, En Vogue teamed up with another successful "girls group," the rap sensation Salt-N-Pepa, and their hit, "Whatta Man." 1997

After time off for marriages, babies, movie appearances (Batman Forever) and solo attempts, En Vogue returned as a trio in June with their LP, EV3. The quartet
became a trio early in the year when Dawn Robinson left the group amicably to
pursue a solo career (after leaving Lucy Pearl). The remaining members
have wished Robinson good luck, and have vocally adapted their harmonies to fill the void. En Vogue bring back their futuristic flava in their video for the gold hit "Whatever" and will be touring later this summer. Through the year, En Vogue took home an American Music Award for Favorite Soul/R&B Band, Duo or Group and the Soul Train Lady of Soul Award for Best R&B Group Single ("Don't Let Go (Love)").
