2000 Audi S4 BiTurbo Quattro

This is my dad's newly purchased Laser red 2000 Audi S4. The car is an absolute blast to drive and yet contains the utmost in luxurious features. Such features as nappa leather 10 way power driver and passenger seats are standard. Several other features include self leveling high intensity discharge projector low beams, auto dim interior as well as exterior rear view mirrors, heated seats, an excellent Bose 10 speaker stereo with an in dash CD as well as a 6 disc CD changer in the trunk, and a multi function trip computer, and several other features ranging from birds eye maple trim to auto dim dash lights. Performance wise the car is absolutely wonderful. Standard on the S4 is Audi's famed Quattro all wheel drive system as well as an electronic limited slip rear differential. The motor utilizes as many top notch features as possible. The power plant is comprised of a 2.7 liter 5 valve per cylinder twin turbo V-6 with two separate KKK 8lbs. turbos. A system of one turbo per bank is utilized allowing boost levels of 8 lbs. per bank of three cylinders to be used allowing a total of 16 lbs of boost. Use of two small intercoolers residing in both vents up front allow high boost levels to be attained while also making motor speeds of 7000 rpm possible without engine failure. All in all, the motor produces 258 ft. lbs. of torque at 4800rpm and maximum out put of 250 horsepower to the wheels at 5800 rpm. The brakes are equally impressive consisting of massive rotors front and rear with a four pad system. Autoweek rated this S4's braking performance second only to a 2001 BMW M5 of all cars that they've ever tested and there was only a 1 foot difference between the S4 and M5>
