Your host, the man to blame,

the twisted world of Steve Ramirez.

Currently resides in Southern California where he works too many jobs for too little money.  Is the host at the weekly reading held by Two Idiots Peddling Poetry, at the Ugly Mug Caffe in Orange.  He was a member of the 2000  Laguna Beach Slam Team, has published two chapbooks (Howls from a Bloodless World, and A Gathering of Pages), and is the Fundraising Director for  the BIG DAMN POETRY SLAM in Long Beach (we take donations!).  Also recently published in the Spring issues of the Comstock Review and Limestone Circle.  Upcoming publications include Incidental Buildings & Accidental Beauty (an anthology of Orange County & Long Beach poets published by Tebot Bach Press). Also, recent member of the Five Penny Poets and Tebot Bach.    He is a graduate of the Professional Actor's Conservatory, and has stage-managed throughout Orange County and parts of LA.

An avid hockey fan, he also has a very... eclectic... taste in music.

Some quotes about Steve Ramirez and his work:

--Pat Cohee, the Inevitable Press

"(Steve Ramirez) kicked some serious ass!"

--Victor Infante, OC Weekly

"Steve who?  I hear the Ugly Mug has great coffee."
