My Virtual Photo Album

My Life Until Now

Real estate investments by day, Harley rider by night ("IRON HORSE"). I live in Los Angeles, but grew up in Texas where my two siblings and parents reside. My first job at 14 was that of a dish washer, and the next year I worked in a construction gang pouring concrete and building apartments. But I then faked an I.D. and became a bartender at 17. I subsequenlty became a physical trainer at a rehab. center and then a long shoreman in the Virgin Islands. Went to college at the University of Texas and then Oxford becoming an architect. My artistic skills allowed me the opportunity to become a professional artist rendering/drawing planned buildings for billboards, newspaper and magazine layouts. Then obtained my masters degree (MBA) and became a faculty member at a major state university. Money attracted me to the private sector where I became a financial mercenary and now work with Wall Street Capital and international investment banking. This takes me to China a lot, primarily Hong Kong, Shanghai and Taipei (was in Taiwan when the big 7.6 earthquake hit...too much rockin' & rollin' even for a California boy!)

Dark hair, brown eyes, 6'-0" , 185 lbs, single and a fitness junky. Gregarious and value relationships and people highly, and believe in treating everyone with respect and kindness regardless of their position in life. Artist, and long-time guitarist now leaning towards Spanish classical. My favorite person in the world is my 12-year old daughter Lauren who lives with her mother, my ex and very good friend. My philosophy is that life is a blank canvas, and we hold the brushes until the day we die.

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problems.

Lauren and Spice

Home in Agoura Hills

This is where I lived for a number of years in Agoura Hills, California. "Little House on the Prairie" as well as "MASH" and other TV series have been filmed in this area. If you like blue skies, hills and horses, you will love Agoura Hills.

My Iron Horses

My Current Harley

This is my 1996 Heritage Springer (started life as a FatBoy). It has been showcased in a couple of movies. Universal Pictures was recently interested in it being in a Julia Roberts flick.

1998 Limited Edition Heritage Springer

This was my previous bike, a 1998 limited edition Heritage Springer.

My two favorite things...my daughter Lauren...and her smile.

Sometimes a father just gets lucky. Lauren has an extremely high I.Q. - tested at post-highschool level while still in the 7th grade. Very precocious, gentle and kind, she has a heart of gold. She takes after her mother :o) If you want to become her best friend, ask her about Midnight Cloud, her pet bunny that she is never without.

"Get your motor runnin'...Head out on the highway!"

I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,
And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking,
And a gray mist on the sea's face and a gray dawn breaking.

Enjoying what life has to offer

Charity Events CAN be Fun!

Being on the Executive Board of an underprivileged childrens' charity can be a lot of work, but it also has its rewards. This is me with nine Celebrity Centerfold Playmates at Hugh Hefner's mansion officiating at an event I threw to raise money for these needy kids. Another year I had it at the Museum of Flying in Santa Monica with Edward James Olmos was our Master of Ceremonies, and the subsequent year it was at the House of Blues with the Temptations playing. Other celebrities coming to the charity events have inclduded Jamaal Wilkes, Ernest Borgnine and Edward Norton.

"Once an artist, always an artist"

My current art endeavors deal mainly with pencil/graphite sketches of things I love most. Studies of animals in the wild are my favorite.

Wildcat

This sketch is of a bobcat frozen in contemplation before a strike.

Wild Mustangs

These two wild stallions were witnessed in the open plains of the Rocky Mountains.
