MICHAEL LANDON

My favourite tv actor of all time, here is a short biography for you all.

Michael Landon was born Eugene Maurice Orowitz on 31st October 1936, he was the son of a Jewish father and a Catholic mother and had a sister Eveyln. Michael had been in lots of films and tv screenplays before making his name as Little Joe in Bonanza, probably his most mermorable film is I Was A Teenage Werewolf. Two years later he shot to fame as Little Joe in Bonanza.

Fourteen years later when Bonanza ended, Michael then took the role of Charles Ingalls in Little House On The Prairie which subsequently ran for nine years.

Michael then produced Highway To Heaven also starring Little House On The Prairie star Victor French, but his final tv appearance came in the family tv drama US in which he played his last tv role as Jeff Hayes.

Sadly Michael died on 1st July 1991 after a three month battle of cancer.
