Tarea lived in an existence before time. He was loyal, his powers were only surpassed by his brother Angel Lucifer in the ranks of the angels, and like his brethern, he was also souless. Persuaded by Lucifer, he fought in the war for a new order in Paradise. After losing the war Lucifer , Taera and the surviving angels in the rebellion were cast out of the Great Paradise
In Lucifers new Dark Paradise, Taera now worked with his brother in rebuilding the army of fallen angels and demons. Together they created more dark angels with made in their images. Lucifer would then pick a chosen few in from these armies, of whom would study especially under him in learning his dark arts. As the number of Chosen One's grew, the need for Taera lessened.
Lucifer seeing no more use for his brother, decided to do away with him. Taera, expecting this, rallied his own army of followers. A war ensued, pitting brother against brother. Taera and his followers lost this war. Those of his making and likeness that were caught were tortured and killed mercilessly, those escaping this fled to the darker corners of Lucifers paradise to be forgotten. As for Taera, his was thrown into the abyss, by his brother and soon forgotten.
Knowing full well of his foolishness, Taera tried for ages to contact anything one or thing in the Great Paradise. Ages passed, and so he was ignored; or so he thought. He was heard, and given a second chance. He would be sent to the material plane with a gift, a soul. An understanding was made, that if he lost his soul he would once again be lost to the abyss, and forgotten forever, never to be heard again. Taera agreed, and so he was purged out of the abyss.
