The Man in the Green Suit  -submitted 11-28-99

This is a true account of something that happened to me about six years ago.

One night, I woke up in the early hours of the morning, only to find a man sitting next to my bed. at first I was absolutely terrified and thought, how did this man get into my house ? He was so realistic looking that at first I thought he was a living person. After my initial reaction of sheer terror, I realized that the man sitting next to me was extremely sad. He was not looking at me, so did not realize that I was seeing him.
He was wearing a green business suit, had blonde hair,and was sitting in a hard chair. However, as mentioned above, he was not looking at me; this was because he was hunched over somewhat leaning on one of his arms. I suddenly began to feel extreme compassion for this man because in sensing his grief, I also felt the sadness had something to do with me. I felt that he knew me very well, (probably from a past life), and was very sad because perhaps I had hurt him, or because we were no longer together.  I became fascinated further with this apparition and continued to stare at him. I felt more and more sympathy for his feelings.  Finally, he abruptly looked up and found me looking at him.  He seemed surprised, and suddenly his sadness disappeared. He then displayed a mixture of a knowing look (as if I knew who he was) and some anger. Then, he disappeared. Before he left, I noticed that he had no eyes, just dead space where the eyes would normally be.  I hope you find this story of interest, and perhaps might have some insight into it.
