• Munches in the Southern California Area
  Munches, or get-togethers at restaurants or other locales involving food and drink, are a big part of socializing amongst BDSM afficionados in Southern California. Fetish wear and any sort of SM gear are not usually permitted, and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. Unlike parties, munches are meant to provide a casual atmosphere for socializing apart from play.
  NOTE: All munches listed are monthly unless otherwise noted.
  • Mondays
    • As far as I know, there are no munches scheduled on Mondays at this time.
  • Tuesdays
    • The Long Beach Social meets on the second Tuesday at 7 PM.
    • The Santa Barbara Social is held on the fourth Tuesday at 7 PM. For more information, email hrtnsoIsub@aol.com.
  • Wednesdays
    • Locals Kane and Careena host the Sportman's Lodge Social in Studio City on the first Wednesday at 7 PM.
    • The Inland Social meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7 PM in the Ontario area.
    • The San Diego BDSM Social meets on the third Wednesday in the Mission Valley area at 7 PM. For more information, email SenSadist@aol.com or HisPeach@aol.com.
    • The Rose Garden Inland Valley Singles' Munch also is held on the third Wednesday at 7 PM in the Ontario area.
    • The Orange County Social meets in the Costa Mesa area on the fourth Wednesday at 7 PM.
  • Thursdays
    • The SDL Munch meets in San Diego on the first Thursday at 7 PM.
    • The FemDom Social is open to all genders and orientations and takes place at 8 PM the third Thursday in Monrovia. For more information, email Ms. Evil.
    • The SDL North County Munch in Escondido is on the fourth Thursday at 6:30 PM.
  • Fridays
    • Club X hosts a social in San Diego which starts at 8 PM on the first Friday.
  • Saturdays
    • Generation X, UNITE! The “Generation X” Munch takes place in West Covina on the first Saturday at 2 PM. “Generation X” is defined as anyone between the ages of 21-33.
    • The “Paddlers” Munch takes place on the second Saturday and is organized by Master Mel, a professional dominant located in the Riverside area. The “Paddlers” Munch also has a mailing list.
    • The Orange County Munch meets on the third Saturday at 1:30 PM and is located in the Anaheim Area. This munch also has an email reminder list which is accessible by clicking on the link above.
    • The third Saturday is also home to the Ventura County Social. For directions and other information, email purgprod@yahoo.com or IM40ddd@aol.com.
    • Also on the third Saturday of the month is the Bakersfield BDSM Group Munch.
  • Sundays
    • The SoCA Sanctuary Email List hosts a potluck munch with a moderated discussion group on the first Sunday at 11 AM. This event is restricted to submissives and switches in submissive mode only. The SoCA Sanctuary Munch is located in the Long Beach area. The group also has a list on egroups.
    • The Rose Garden Munch, located in the Riverside area, takes place on the fourth Saturday at 1 PM. Those wishing to attend must RSVP to munch@TheRoseGarden.org.
    • The Rose Garden also hosts a Singles Munch in San Fernando Valley on varied Saturdays.

• Body Modification Professionals in the Southern California Area
  Note: If you don't know much about body modification (i.e., body piercing, tattooing, corseting, etc,) please make sure to visit the General Resources page for specific information about them as safety and quality are paramount concerns, especially in these areas.
  • CM Hurt is a full service body piercing studio in Orange. Cynthia, the proprietor, is a well-known body piercer trained by Master Piercer Fakir Musafar.
  • Todd Bertrang, a body piercer in the Sylmar/San Fernando Valley Area. Todd also does branding & scarification.
  • Outer Limits offers two full-service tattoo studios in Orange and Anaheim. Kari Barba, the proprietor, is a world-renowed tattoo artist.
  • Romantasy is a great resource from which one may purchase well-made, beautiful, custom corsets. B&R Creations and C&S Constructions, among others, sell corsets through this site. Romantasy employs a Southern California representative who will assist with measurements and advice regarding corsets available as well as about corset or waist training.
