1/24/03-- Major cuts have been made to the QH Mares! 35 mares are now available for PRIVATE SALE. We are very excited about our new QH breeding program.

10/21/02-- NSS warmly welcomes its newest Paint stallion, SW ZIPPN GO he's a full brother to MSW ZIPPN ZIGGY, and . . . (drumroll) he's buckskin! Finally some color in our program!

10/21/02-- Added family notes to the Paint stallions. WHOOHOO!

10/15/02-- NSS wracks up 2 track titles from MTS! Nanny's Granny JJ walks away with the 3yo Appaloosa Filly title & I Am King Bob comes away with the 2yo QH colt tile. HOORAY!

10/05/02-- Ben Struk finally wins a stakes! He took the ITR Hall Of Fame 5/u very nicely. We are very proud of our Benny. He is his dam's first son to win a stakes.

10/04/02-- NSS warmly welcomes its newest addition to its Polish Arabian broodmare band, Whisperinthewind.

7/6/02-- All The More loses a match race to Jazz N Blues by a neck. Good show by both on this historic date (27 years ago Foolish Pleasure & Ruffian met on this date in a match race that proved fatal to the filly... luckily the same fate did not occur for All The More). 7/4/02-- Oh, I love my pretty new computer! I got a new toy-- a new HP Pavillion... I named him Hugh

6/21/02-- HOORAY! Seaworthy has sired another winner for himself. Give a round of applause for his son's, Juvenile Delinquent, win at Buckeye!

6/5/02-- HOORAY FOR SEAWORTHY! He has sired another stakes winner (moving him into the #2 slot for leading sires of trotters). Congratulations to WOLF POWER, (an NSS 2001 Express Yearling Consignment) and his connections, for winning the Westgate Crown Futurity at West Ottowa Raceway on June 5. Keep working toward that MHA CH title, buddy!

6/5/02-- Give a standing ovation for TREASURED SPEED our first WORLD CHAMPION. She shattered the World Record for Aged Trotting Mare at West Ottowa Raceway! The record was previously held by Vickie M. Vickie M's record stood for 3 years. Much thanks to Cross R Ranch, MI for breeding TREASURED SPEED

5/22/02-- NSS warmly welcomes its newest additions to its broodmare bands: MCH/MSW/Millionaire Exlcusive Devlin (Trotter), Rose Rivaz (Arab, full sister to leading sire AMARNA ROSE NASRULLAH), and SpW Toby's Katy (SI-102, Appy). Also its newest Standardbred Trotting sire MSpW Imagine! They are all settled in and can be seen on their respective webpages.

5/16/02-- Current racers pages updated with placings on horses who recently ran at Badger State.

5/15-16/02-- Good day of racing for NSS and connections. Congratulations to our new home-bred winners Chosen One and Arapaho's Treason!

5/11/02-- Guess who's on FIRE!! NANNY'S GRANNY JJ wins the Uncompahgre Stakes wire to wire at Mountainside! SI-101

5/8/02-- Our current list of race horses has been updated. You can now view the Arabian Racehorses, and Paint Racehorses

5/7/02-- NSS mourns the loss of Thoroughbred legend Seattle Slew, and Kris S (broodsire to RK Roundhouse). Our condolences to the industry.

5/5/02-- West Ottowa Results are in! SOUTH PACIFIC wins the elimination devision of the Tulip City Pace in NEW STAKES RECORD TIME! He defeated one heck of a field! MHA CHs all around. He got second in the final, crushing MHA CHs AGAIN! Also, NEVELE HANOVER cleans up the ITR Dexter Cup, $175,000! He is back on track for the Trotting Triple Crown. This is not all, though, we had quite a few undercard winners as well. Overall, a great day of racing for NSS!

4/25/02-- THIS NANNY'S NO GRANNY!!- Nanny's Granny JJ crowned Model Running Appaloosa Distance 2yo Filly Champion!!

4/25/02-- NSS gains its first back-to-back Model Darley Award. Najslav-- MDA 4YOF CH, and All The More--MDA 3YOF CH. . . THANK YOU SILENCE! YOU ROCK OLD GIRL!!

4/25/02-- ALL THE MORE crowned Model Darley Champion 3yo Filly of 2001. . . and misses the coveted Horse Of The Year title by ONE VOTE!!
