Here are some of the dedication's and memorium's made in Philip's name.
Habitat House, Norcross High School, Scientific Atlanta
Habitat House, Norcross High School and Scientific Atlanta began construction of a Habitat House in Liberty Heights in March to honor Philip and Bonnie Debrody (another teacher who taught at Norcross HS). It is complete and was dedicated on May 13, 2000. We are really pleased to see the community come together and take positive action in the face of tragedy. It is a confirmation of what "Mr. Rau" believed: You really can change the
world if you work hard enough.
The Philip C. Rau Teacher Development Fund
Philip was a student at Gould Academy from 1984 until his graduation in June 1986. During those two years he made significant academic progress and
personal growth and was influenced by teachers who served as role models when he himself entered the teaching profession.
We have established an endowed fund in memory of our son and brother that will generate income to be awarded on an annual basis to a classroom teacher
at Gould Academy who personifies the characteristics that animated Philip during his very short, but very successful teaching career.
Individuals or groups who care to increase this endowment by making a gift are welcome to do so by sending a check or money order to:

Springvale Park, Georgia
On June 26, 1999 a tree and bench were dedicated to the memory of Philip at Springvale Park in Georgia. It is a beautiful and peaceful location, and we're glad there is a place to go to remember him.
SoLaRoS
The Land Rover club that Philip was a part of, SoLaRoS (Southern Land Rover Society), dedicated a library to him in Belize.
Capitola, California
There is also a bench in Capitola, California that is dedicated in Philip's name. The bench is down in the village, and is located near the beach.
