Q: What do the 4 "H's" stand for?
A: Head, Heart, Hands, Health (see the 4-H pledge on the main webpage).

Q:Tell me about the history of 4-H and how it became a world-wide organization.
A: Refer to this 4-H History Link or contact your local/regional office to attain materials.

Q: I'm interested in possibly becoming a Journalism major when I finally get to college. Is there anything in 4-H that can help me in this field?
A: 4-H has many different projects to offer all members. As far as learning things about a possible futuristic major, you're best off going with something like the Leadership, and/or the Citizenship project. But, there are many others to choose from to join, based on your interest level.

Q: If I became a 4-H Member and got involved, what qualities would I grow on?
A: 4-H is a program that helps all members with leadership, communication, organization, preparation, and working with others skills. However, the more active you become, the more you'll get out of the whole 4-H experience.
