In Honor Of The
Kennedy's
AQUINNAH, Mass. (AP) - After two days of
searching and holding out hope of a
miraculous survival, authorities conceded
late Sunday that John F. Kennedy Jr., his
wife and her sister likely were dead. The
announcement effectively confirmed the worst
fears of Americans for the son of the fallen
president, who had become crown prince of
America's pre-eminent political dynasty; for
his wife, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, 33, a
former fashion publicist who turned press-shy
after her marriage; and her older sister,
Lauren Bessette, a rising New York investment
banker. The announcement, almost 48 hours
after the plane disappeared off radar
screens, ended official hopes for the
survival of JFK Jr., who had been famous
since the indelible salute he gave at his
father's funeral on his third birthday. The
38-year-old Kennedy was piloting a single
engine Piper Saratoga carrying his wife and
sister-in-law when it went down in the waters
off Martha's Vineyard on Friday night en
route to his cousin Rory's wedding.
NATION'S GOLDEN BOY"
Today we mourn,
Unlike Yestur-year when we prasied the Golden
Salute, of Daddy's gone away,
The memories that stay in the mind,
Are flowing once more,
Where has he gone? we say awake:
Are Golden Boy of Camalot,
Has gone and passed away,
He took are love and heartfelt tears along
the way,
His good looks and gentle voice were are
pillar,
Today we feel the pain abold,
The pain that John Jr, shared with us in his
times of grief,
The boy we saw grow into a man, right before
are very eyes,
Is no longer the man we look apon,
For now daddy's little boy, has gone home,
To see his parents, once again
At least now daddy can see what a man he has
become.
GOD BLESS YOU JOHN JR. WE WILL MISS YOU
ALWAYS!
