Central Valley Chapter Brothers of the Third Wheel

The Central Valley Chapter of Brothers Of The Third Wheel meets on the First Saturday of each month at 9:00 AM at the Dam Diner in Friant, Cali. There is usually a ride following the meeting. For more info or to confirm the location, please drop me an email.

Our meetings have been a great time to fellowship, the food is good, (the biscuits and gravy are out of this world) and the service can't be beat.

In the past there have been two Trike-In's per year. One in April and one in October. This last Arpil was our first one at the Fairgrounds in Madera, California. The next Trike In will be on October 24th thru 26th, 2008. The fairgrounds are located at 1850 West Cleveland Ave. From Hiway 99, take the Cleveland Ave exit and go west. The Fairgrounds are on the left.

There will be trike games, a poker run and trophies for the best trike in several different classes. There is a dinner available on Saturday night, as well as several restaurants within walking distance. Registration for the rally is $10.00 per person, (children under 13 are free) and I am not sure of the camping fee but I wouldn't think it would be too much. For more info call Loner at 559-781-8129.

Check out the Flyer below.

As always, there is a standing invitation to ride with the Roman's Road Riders, the Fresno chapter of the Christian Motorcyclist's Association. Their meeting is at Carrow's Restaurant on Shaw Ave. near Sixth Street at 7:30 A.M. each third Saturday of the month with a ride following.

Here is a picture of our trike. It is still under construction. I have installed a new transaxle and put on some new mag wheels with a Teddy Bear as the hub.

Here is Ozzie on one of his trikes in front of his home in Coalinga.

Here is Ozzie on his Mountain Trike. This trike is made from a VW and several hundred pounds of galvanized pipe. It is quite a sight.

This picture is of Archie Phillips. I always considered him to be my "Head Mechanic and Senior Advisor." He suffered a couple heart attacks in early August. 2006 and went home to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ. I will miss him very much. He was always there to answer questions for me, or when I could not get my trike to run, he would tell me, "Well I really don't want to take on any more projects but bring it on over." He worked on my trike more than I did.

I will see him again some day when my time here on earth is over. Until then, I will just have to be content to look at his picture.

God Bless you Archie. I'll see you when I get there!
