Dear Jeff,
My wife and I have enjoyed your PBS programs for years, and my three
sons were raised with your show as a regular part of our Saturdays. The
boys are all
grown and have families of their own now. My youngest is stationed
at Fort Lewis in Tacoma and he and his wife recently blessed us with our
fifth grandchild. We
made our first trip to Washington State to see them in August and took
your advice to visit the marketplace in Seattle while we were there. I
hoped that we would
be so fortunate as to find you walking among the vendors, but it was
not so. We want you to know that we miss you and pray that you will return
soon to share
your humor, wisdom, and culinary skill. Every ordeal serves to make
us better. We trust that all will be well.
