Cars I have owned

This page will soon have pictures of all of my former cars. I have been interested in cars as long as I can remember. My older brothers started out with dirt bikes and go-karts. I remember this old go-kart with a wire coat hanger used for the throttle. It would make contact with the spark plug occasionally and kill the motor while shocking us. We remedied this by taping a wadded up paper towel to the end of the hanger. The motor would still miss when contact was made, but the driver wouldn't get shocked. Simply covering the spark plug would have ruined the fun. From there we moved on to beat-up cars, slowly learning to fix things correctly. Since then I've owned many crappy cars and one or two nice ones. I now drive a personality-free Honda, and never work on it myself. The urge to drive something that needs me is getting stronger, though.

1st Car - A 1966 Toyota Corona. Three-speed on the column. Taken away as punishment for driving without a license. Mom sold it to Kelly (L-R Kelly & Joe).

2nd Car - Another Corona, 1967. Tons of rust. Barely made it from Washington to Oregon. Leaked gasoline due to a badly rusted fuel tank (was repaired en-route with Jon's shoe goo). Traded to Kelly for a watch.

3rd Car - 1981 Toyota Corolla. 1.8 Hemi 4-cyl. Rear wheel drive, fun to rip around in. Traded to Kelly for yet another Corona. NEXT PAGE
