I suppose they're right when they say that all good things must come to an end. And I suppose this is one of them. I could give you a million reasons why I'm choosing to end this site. One is that I am incredibly busy, even more so than usual. Another is that I've gotten to the point where I hate updates with a passion. But the main one is that I've grown up. I originally start fan fiction, and this site, because I was clinically depressed and I had nowhere else to turn to. At that point in time, it was my salvation. But, I am no longer depressed. I am very happy with my life at this point. However, there is still a part of me that clings to the unhappy person I once was, and I feel that by shutting this down, I am truly moving on and letting go of the past. It's incredibly hard, and incredibly painful, but I no longer have desire to write fan fiction, nor host it. I apologize deeply to my hosted authors and all the wonderful, loyal readers who have kept me going with their kind words. Please do keep in touch; I will always be happy to hear from you guys.
With that said, I am dedicating this entire site and this entire past year of work on it to a few certain people who have made it possible. Kor, without you, I probably would never have taken up writing again. You've been my inspiration, and, of course, my best friend, as you will always be. Hollz, you were the first fellow fan fiction site owner I befriended, and through you, I had the opportunity to befriend many more. I can't thank you enough for making me laugh - and for listening. Lizzie, well, what can I say girl? I met you through Hollzee and I'm sure glad I did! You've listened to my drama time after time, and I thank you for it. Bria, I haven't known you as long as the others, but I've gotten to know you in that period of time. Thank you for everything. To the last three, also known as the Blackmail Quartet when you add me, I love you guys, and we've got something awesome here (you guys know what I mean). Mickey, gurlie, you're awesome and you're another inspiration of mine - and remember, Illuzion 4ever!!!!! Always!!!!! And, finally, Kayree - I've known you for a very short amount of time, but you were the one who really made me realize that it was time to let go. I thank you for that.
I will never take this site down. That lies in the hands of Angelfire, and Angelfire alone. But I am starting over. My stories on this site you will find ONLY on this site from now on. You can find my new work at Total Fantasy (see link below).
Exactly one year ago on this date, Kristy's BSB Fan Fic Site was born. Since then, it has undergone many changes, including a retitling. This will be the final change, and certainly the biggest. But I believe it is for the best; I am moving on to bigger and better things.
This site will remain here. Explore it, and you will see the person I once was. And, maybe if you search hard, you will catch a glimpse of the person I am now.
Every end is really a new beginning.
