Welcome to the Southwest High School Orchestra Page. Our string orchestra is one of the finest programs that the SHS has to offer, all due to our teacher/conductor Mrs. Sechrist. Our orchestra has participated in many competitions, about two or three a year. We have been able to compete in all our competitions receiving superior scores for six long years. This year we competed in the Palomar Jr. College Orchestra Festival, Festivals of Music 2000 in Lynn Massachusetts, and Southern California Regional Festival at the University of Redlands in Riverside.
