YEARLY PROJECTS

Going back to the late 20th century, I have always had at least one big project every year - one that stood out more than any other guitar acquisition for that year. In 2000, I spent some time on my ESP Jazz Bass and Charvel Model 96 projects. In 2001, it was the Kramer EVH Frankenstein II guitar. 2002 - the ESP Tel Aviv project. I began documenting these yearly projects in 2003-04 when I took on (and conquered!) the amazing and versatile Purina Checkerboard guitar. The links below detail the steps and show the progress of some of my cooler guitars and possibly offer some insight into the tedious and maddening world of guitar building.
