Anton only notices his parents are dead when he tripps on a umbrella, and runs into the two stuffed dummies with pumpkin heads. They all fall and the pumpkins shatter, with his parents' heads underneath.
He slowly realizes he's the killer when he murders his two friends and can no longer control his left hand.
Also in this movie as a girl who has been tracking the devil going around in people's hands. By connecting the dots on her map of the appearences she finds out where the devil is going next. She teams up with Anton's neighbor to find the hand and stop it.
While they are looking for him, Anton cuts off his hand with the aid of his two friends who had been brought back from the dead. After he cuts his hand off, Anton microwaves it until it is charred. Soon after, his friends accidentally release it by opening the microwave to cook some burritos.
When Anton and his dead friends find his girlfriend, she is already tied to the top of a car being raised up towards the ceiling to be smashed by the hand, who was wearing a sock puppet. Anton wrestles with the hand to get it away from the controls to stop the car, but it is too strong. While he is trying to save the girl, his friends are lighting up a bong they found in the metalshop class. Anton blows the smoke into the sock puppet and it slowly lets go and drops to the ground.
The hand is finally killed when it jumps to attack and is pinned to Mick's chest with the 'special' knife that had to be used to kill the devil.
Not many people liked this movie. Most say it ripped off Evil Dead 2, and many other movies. But despite all this, I still think it was a pretty good movie. It seems like it was made to make fun of horror movies and be funny at the same time.
