Well folks it's that time of year again....the time we all dread (well all us adults.)
Christmas is a time for sharing, caring and spending time with our family and friends.
But for those of us who have lost loved ones, this time of year can be very difficult.

A few years back I came across a poem in our local newspaper. I typed it
out, added a christmas background and had it lamintaed. Any every year at
at this time I hang it up.

I have decided to add this poem to my page in hopes that I can make it easier
for people to get through another holiday season without that special loved one.
If I can bring a smile to just one persons face, then adding this poem was
the right thing to do.

I do not know who wrote the poem but if I did I would give them the credit because
they have done a WONDERFUL JOB.

T'WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

T'was the night before Christmas
And my eyes filled with tears
For the loss of my parents
and my friends through the years.
As I sat reminiscing, looking
up at the tree,
What I'd give just to have them
sitting next to me.
I suddenly realized that I
shouldn't feel sad
That I should have been grateful,
for the years that we had.
I know up in heaven,
Where I couldn't see
Singing carols with angels
they watched over me.
As I walked up the stairs
And extinguished the light
I smiled and I whispered,
"Merry Christmas, Good Night."

HO HO HO!

Dryden and Santa...December 3rd,1999.

I would also like to wish a Merry Christmas and a
Happy New Year to all my friends I have made
on the net.
