American Temperament Test

"A Sound Mind In A Sound Body"

July 2000
(left to right) Penny, Booker T and Crystal

"In July of 2000 I entered my Boxers for temperament testing for the first time. It is a 10 step test and quite interesting. It is designed to test a dog's reaction to certain threats that can happen in day to day life. There is also a portion that tests the dog's protection skills with awareness/reaction to a threatening stranger.

Temperament is a very important quality to me in my dogs. I am proud to say they all passed with flying colors. Booker T got a particularly high score. I highly recommend this test for Boxers."
