I was alone, my life incomplete I existed, simply was...I had loved and lost My life had become a lonely exsistance...no purpose...no thought It seemed as if nature was laughing at me The Sun rose ....I refused to feel it's warmth The birds sang...I refused to hear their song The flowers bloomed....I refused to smell their fragrance and I cried Empty....lost to love....lost to life Nothing to look foward to..and too much pain looking back

Then I met you...it wasn't love at first sight...but a warmth that attracted meI found it very easy to talk with you...comfortable...and we would talk for hourswhat was said I couldn't rememberwhat was felt I can never forgettime passed and I looked foward to our talksand didn't relize I was looking foward to something againUntil the morning I woke...and felt the sun's warmthheard the birds songAnd smelled the sweet fregrance of blooming flowersAnd I thought of youand I smiledI looked back ,,,for just a moment...and felt no painand I knewI am once again aware of the chanceof loss...but i am also aware of whatthere is, if I choose, not to take that chanceSo I offer you this with no expectations..no anticipation...and wanting nothing in returnwhat I offer you so completely
