ONLINE DIARY

If you are reading this, then you've got to be REAL bored!! Let me bore you some more! Here I will write down major events of the day, my thoughts, feelings, etc.

****STARTING NEW****

2/22/04 - I deleted last years entries. About 3-4 weeks ago, I weighed myself and I weighed over 230 LBS. I've never weighed this much in my life. That and the fact that I was having some other health problems which I will not get into, I decided it was time for an aggressive approach to lose this weight. I am on a virtually fat free diet, and I began walking/jogging about 3 miles a day on the treadmill. I did take a break from the treadmill as I got a cold and felt very run down, but I am back to doing it again every day providing I've gotten enough sleep (if I work out when I haven't slept properly, it's a recipe for getting sick again..). Also lifting weights daily, to keep toned so I'm not losing muscle. I have lost weight. Probably at least 15 lbs, though I'm not going to weight myself for a while. My clothes are much looser. A pair of Tommy Hilfigers that were too tight to get into are now loose. My wife bought us some new weddding rings for Christmas, and the size 10 was too tight to fit. It fits now, even a little loose. It seems I am sleeping a lot less too. I used to sleep 10-11 hours a night, now I am sleeping about 8-9.
Anyway, since I am such a fan of the WB reality series "The Surreal Life", I have begun listening to (are you ready for this?) - Vanilla Ice (!) - I've been reading books on the EST movement lately, which I find fascinating and extremely useful. Today, I'm relaxing, as it's been a somewhat stressful week, we've had to affumigate a building for termites and it was just one headace after the next (mostly due to my wife's being so unorganized & inefficient about the whole thing), and of course she gets up at the fucking crack of dawn and starts making a bunch of noise and phone calls, which wakes me up and I usually can't get back to sleep which makes for a day in which I am generally pissed off all day. But last night I actually slept well, so I should be able to do my full routine (exercise, weights, etc.). I doubt if I'll go out today as it's raining. I am organizing my list of video games into a spreadsheet. Current counts = Sega Genesis: Approx 150 games. Super NES: Approx 150 games. Nintendo NES: Approx 290 games. I pick these up real cheap at places like Gamestop and Gamecrazy, so I gotta make a list to take with me or else I'll keep buying the same games over and over. I'm going to start reading EST founder Werner Erhard's biography, which should be a lot of fun, I finally tracked down a copy for $1 at the thrift store. That's all for now. More soon.

***OH THAT WAS REAL SOON, HUH!? Here we are, over three years later, and it seems like yesterday that I posted that. My life has changed quite a bit since that last entry. I've moved to a new state and a new house, and those were great decisions. SHALL WE CONTINUE? LOL!! ***

Saturday, 4/21/07 - I didn't sleep well last night, but I'm feeling OK. I spent most of the day cleaning out my basement, which I like to call my "Space Command Center" - it houses all of my video games and over a dozen 19 inch television sets so that each game system can have it's own set and run at the same time. I put all of my action figures away and cleaned everything up real nice. While cleaning, I found my copy of Opal's "Early Recordings", which I had been looking for for the longest time. It sure was nice to hear that CD again. Also found a couple of bills I forgot to pay - ouch!

Thursday, 4/26/07 - Slept real well last night. I got up at 2:20 PM. Went and checked my mail, and mailed some things out. Came home and called the plumber who I had an afternoon appointment with. He cancelled with me before, and cancelled again today. I told him I'd call to reschedule when it was convenient for me. I've had a lot of appointments lately what with the air conditioning guy doing maintainence, etc., that I just want a break from all that. So I fed my fish (I have a pond that has like a couple hundred goldfish in it), fed my birds (I call them "my" birds, but they are wild birds that I feed.. I buy them the finest seeds available, and they seem to appreciate it, you should hear them chirp when I walk outside with my orange bowl full of seed !!!) I went to the thrift store where I found a cool old milk crate (I collect these), a couple of books, and a pair of sunglasses. I came home and watched some TV (Simpson's, Seinfeld), then decided to listen to some music. Here's what I listened to: Spice Girls "Spice World", New York Dolls "Night of the living dolls", Kiss "Love Gun". I had french bread pizza (home made) and salad for dinner, and a nice sundae with vanilla ice cream, melted chocolate bars and crushed almonds. Mmmmmmm... yummy! My wife wasn't feeling too good today, kinda down, so I took her out and got her a "taco salad" at the drive thru, and that seemed to cheer her up. Overall, great day.
