~~ APRIL FOOL'S DAY – April 1st ~~
This is the day to show your kids you still have a sense of humor!
Set your table backwards. Put the tablecloth wrong side up. Place cups near the edge of the table and plates farther away. Don't forget the whoopee cushions (830264 $.75)! Walk around wearing Spacey Glasses. When your kids are rolling on the ground laughing hand them their own pair to wear (810253 $3/doz). If they ever stop giggling, give them a package of rattlesnake eggs (830277 $.49). When they open the envelope, a rubber band device springs and sounds like a rattlesnake. If they start playing the jokes on you, sit them in a chair and use our finger traps (810261 $8.99 for 72) to keep them occupied while you plan your next joke!

For dinner you can Serve the meal Backwards or Make the meal Backwards. To Serve the Meal Backwards, serve everything in the wrong place. Put the spaghetti in cups and milk in the bowl.

To Make the Meal Backwards:
- Serve Dessert First!
Okay we still want our kids to eat the healthy stuff first so make a pretend cake. Make meatloaf in a round cake pan. Frost with mashed potatoes. Use carrot shavings for sprinkles.

- Serve Pizza For Dessert! Make a cake in a round cake pan. Frost with red frosting for the tomato sauce. Grate white chocolate and use for cheese. For toppings use fruit or candy.

Pin the eggs in the Easter Bunny's Basket
Take the green rabbit in our Plush Bunny Cutouts and place it low enough on the wall so all the children can reach. Cut out egg shapes about the size of those already in his basket and have the kids decorate them. Blindfold them and see who comes the closest to putting them in the basket.

Bunny Bag Puppets
Start with either a pink or white paper sack. All you need to supply is some construction paper for the ears, some markers, and some cotton balls for the tails and the kids will make amazing bunnies.

Egg Roll
Poke a hole in each end of an uncooked egg. Have the children blow the contents out into a bowl (you can reinforce the holes with notebook hole reinforcers if you need to). Use crepe streamers to make a racing track around the room. Have kids try to blow their egg through the track or use their nose.

Don't forget the Easter Egg hunt! You can also play Croquet and Horseshoes if weather permits. If it's too chilly in your area, you can always decorate eggs indoors!
