THE KARAK HIGHWAY!!!
It happened a couple years back. I am not sure if it's true or not. A family was traveling along the highway. Just after the tunnel, their car broke down. The husband tried to start the car, but it wouldn't start. He got down and tried to fix the car, but it was too dark to see. He tried to wait for any passing car or lorries for assistance, but none came.
Later he decided to walk a kilometre back to the tunnel as there are people at the tunnel control centre. He told his wife to lock the doors and don't get down from the car till he gets back.
About five minutes after he left, their baby started crying loudly. The mother tried to console the baby, but he wouldn't stop crying. Suddenly there was loud thud on the roof of the car. The wife got a shock of her life when suddenly there were bangings on the roof of the car!
The banging continues for a couple of hours. The baby was still wailing. About 4 am, the first car passed. It slowed down but as soon as it got close to the car, it sped off. The wife wondered what the driver saw that intimidated him to speed off like that. A few other vehicles did the same too.
Soon a patrol car stopped about 50 metres from her car and shone it's lights at her. They spoke through the loudspeaker, "Madam, please get down from the car, run towards us and please don't look back." The banging on the roof still continues.
She unlocked the door, clutched her baby tightly in her arms and ran towards the patrol car. However she got curious and she looked behind. She saw a Pontianak (female vampire) was holding her husband's head by the hair and banging it on the roof of the car! She blacked out.
