- Ambrose Stone, Captain Isaac Power's Company, Col. Elisha Porter's Regiment; enlisted July 10, 1777; discharged July 29, 1777; service 19 days; Roll made up for a part of Captain Power's company, which marched to join Northern Army under General Schuyler on an alarm; Capt. Powers reported as of Greenwich.

Josiah Whitney's Regiment, marched July 31, 1778; discharged Sept. 12, 1778; service 1 month 14 days, at Rhode Island; Roll dated Sutton; also Capt. Ebenezer Humphrey's Company, Col. Ambrose Stone (1757-1850) served, 1776, as a private under General Ward at Ticonderoga. He was placed on the pension roll, 1833, for service, Massachusetts Continental Line. He was born in Harvard; died in Goshen, Mass.

Gr-granddaughter of Ambrose Stone and Katherine Partridge, his wife.
