As an explanation for the recent public offering of our new DVD, I offer the following:
Lon DuQuette's Enochian Magick - The Art of Angelic Evocation was first offered on VHS starting in 1994 and after several years of direct sales to the public we grew tired of having to deal with bad checks, Money Orders that were not honored, having to pay bank charges for the bounced checks and those charges alone were $15.00 - $25.00 each time one check didn't clear. Don't even get me started on what those Credit Card Companies charge and then having wait for payments to arrive, not to mention those percentages they get on each transaction. Any retailer will tell you what a racket that is!
We then changed from only direct to the public sales and went through Distributors. Now after years of requests to release some titles on DVD, we did.
A limited edition seemed like a good idea and since some of the VHS tapes were indeed pirated by one individual in particular, we decided to have some fun and name the release "Limited Bootleg" edition.
We gave some of the copies to those people that had responded to our request for those copies and a signed statement of the facts surrounding how they obtained them. In return we sent out the latest DVD.
Now, it appears that Hooded Man Productions is being accused of of selling pirated copies of a DVD that it owns. Now please anyone tell us how that is possible.
Lon Milo DuQuette is the narrator in the video, but he does not own any rights to the product, so please stop saying he does. The entire video is owned by Hooded Man Productions, which is owned by me and I am
L. Scott Fineberg, J.D. President and Owner of HMP. Our Address is: 915 W. Foothill Blvd. PMB 611 Claremont, CA 91711
We have maintained the same Address for over 15 years. In all the time that HMP has sold our products we have had 1 and only 1 complaint and that was from a fellow whose VCR ate his tape, and we refunded not only his full purchase price, but every single cent of postage, every single red cent. I even paid him the price of his envelopes just because that's the way I do business straight up. ( His name is Gary Eggleston ) This was done after trying to satisfy this person 3 separate times and each time his VCR ate the Tapes, so we refunded his money. Run back through Alt.Magick and you will find the thread where I let him LIE his head off and then had the email posted. I believe that was circa 1998.
I like to be completely honest. So there is my 1 and only 1 customer complaint out of let's just say enough videos sold so that a certain contractual provision is binding on Mr. Lon Milo DuQuette.
Now for the complaining individuals who seem to be having such a problem with this DVD, I have provided my name, Address, and the email to contact me. I am also on Yahoo Instant messenger under Enochvid@yahoo.com. My full legal name shows up when I am on.
Now that being said, I want to inform you folks that I am sick and tired of being accused of doing anything remotely in violation of even good taste. If you have a problem with what is being sold then don't buy it. I do not want to hear another word unless you have a comment after watching the video. Simple isn't it.
I don't read and/or post to the Golden Dawn forums, I was notified by someone who purchased our DVD Enochian Magick and was met with such viciousness that he contacted us to tell us what had happened to him.
IF you have a problem with me or my products then have the fortitude to contact me and stop playing games and talking behind my back. Perhaps you weren't aware that false statements are slander and printed is Libel.
So, Mr. Grand Pubah and writer of such great books, care to dance in my world? If you have anything left after everyone else is done suing you, perhaps I will serve you and let the Courts decide if you get to keep the rest or pay it me. Anyone else want to join him bring it on, and please do so with your real name and Address listed so I know where to serve the summons and complaints.
One last thing, you can always attach a return receipt to any letter, package, etc and have proof you sent something off. So, oh never mind, I forgot myself for a moment I am supposed to be writing a very angry response, and I slipped so now you all know I am laughing at these yo yo's who are so jealous they can't stand it, because I beat them to the punch and got the videos out first, so I hold a little thing called COPYRIGHT, and that means any area I have listed on my website that someone else covers in audio/video format of any type or kind could face legal action for violation of said copyright.
By the way, if you folks care to notice the DVD is approximately one hour running time, it would have taken DuQuette at least 10 minutes to ties his shoes, so we had to make it long enough for him to read my revised script since his was vastly in need of it.
By the way, I never claimed to be good at html and/or web page design, so if thats a crime then report it!
That being said, I would be willing to accept the following if someone wants to purchase a DVD:
Cash
Postal Money Order (They must be redeemable at a Governmental Post Office)
Western Union (money transfers)
Thank you for reading my response.
Stepping down from my soapbox....
