Meetings
Meetings are held in the large upstairs room at the Heather Farm Garden Center, Walnut Creek,
and are scheduled on the 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month, from 7:30PM to 9:30PM. Meetings start at 7:30PM with a brief business meeting, and end at 9:30PM.
Please be ready to meet at 7:30PM.
Tuesday - September 4th - Board Meeting, Charlotte Wood School, Danville. 7:30PM.
Saturday, September 8th - 11:00am. Field Trip to visit to members' homes. See the "Notes" section for details.
Wednesday, September 19th - 7:30pm. Basic Class Meeting.
Lecture 7:30-8:00pm - Topic to be

Workshop 8:00 - 9:30.

Notes
Visits to Members' Collections: Saturday September 8th: Two of our fellow members have invited us to visit their bonsai collections at their homes. At 11:00 AM, we will visit the home of Jim Merrill, and then at 12:00 Noon, the home of Gale Newcomb. A sheet of directions and information has been attached. Spring Show 2008 - April 4-6: The time to organize the Spring Show has now arrived! Starting in our September meetings, we will begin to fill out this table. Choose you spot now!

Bonsai Show at Central Park Recreation Center, 50 E 5th Avenue, San Mateo, CA
(5th & El Camino Real). Hours are Saturday 12noon-5PM and Sunday 10AM-4PM.
Demonstration at 2PM both days. Plant sale & drawings.

Midori Bonsai Club: Annual bonsai Show St. Edwards Episcopal Church located just
off Hwy. 85 at the Union Ave. exit in San Jose. Show hours are 10AM-4:30PM.
Demonstration by Larry White at 1:30PM followed by a raffle. Tree, tool and pot
sales.
