Lois Naye, our Club Historian, had knee replacement surgery on Friday before the show. She is recovering and doing rehabilitation at the San Marco Nursing facility, in Walnut Creek.

We wish them both well and a speedy recovery.

The Club's 25th Bonsai Exhibition was a fine success, thanks to the leadership of Byron Nobriga and the hard work of the Club Members. The Treasurer reports that it was a financial success. Comments I heard were that the Demonstrations and the narration were very well done and well received. Thanks to Norm Wanek for the donation of the three beautiful raffle trees, a big part of the financial success of the show.
