The Diablo Bonsai Club will again participate in the Bonsai Show at the San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival, Saturday and Sunday, April 24th and 25th. Set-up is Friday night. We need volunteers for both Saturday and Sunday to greet visitors to our display and answer questions they may have. Sign up sheets will be passed around at the March Basic and Intermediate meetings. Sensei K. Akabane will ask individuals for display trees. K. Akabane was one of the founders of this show. It is the Bay Areas only multi-club show, with five or six Bonsai Clubs participating.

Please help with the clean up and storing of the Club materials. People are encouraged to leave in groups of two or more and be sure that Lois is not left to close alone.

Club Library, Carol Lynn Hansen Bassett, is the Club librarian. Please assist Carol in maintaining the Library. Always checking out materials when you borrow them and be sure to return them on time. There are a lot of valuable resources available in the Club Library for study and review.
