Keep within the rules of the area
you are riding. Requirements are different from area to area.
Stay on designated trails and
do not cut trail corners or cross into sensitive areas.
Show respect for public and
private property. Slow down and reduce noise and dust when near campsites
or residences.
Use proper trail etiquette
and respect the rights of other recreationalists.
Avoid wildlife, livestock and
sensitive or protected areas.
Share the trails with all
other types of recreation. When encountering someone on horseback, pull
off the trail, stop your engine and remove your helmet.
Be environmentally polite.
Don't give anyone a reason to look down on our sport. It does not slow you
down or make things less fun to keep an eye out for environmental
awareness.
Pack It In, Pack It Out, Do Not
Litter.
Don't ride under the
influence. It is not only the law, but it is the smart way to ride.
Maintain your vehicle, keep sound levels within required limits. Do
not pollute, keep fuels, oils and coolants off the land and watersheds.
Wear safety gear. Accidents
always seem to happen when you don't wear all of your gear. Don't take a
chance.
Avoid abandoned mineshafts.
Stay Out — Stay Alive.

When you're out OHVing, display the N2Dirt logo
and be a good example for others to follow.
