A Special Gift for the Holidays

The Felicity Christmas

aired 12/15/98

Directed by Michael Fields

Written by J.J. Abrams

THIS WEEK'S MORAL

Necrophila and narcolepsy are NOT the same thing.

VOCABULARY

"...understand the perameters, the boundaries of this relationship..." - Felicity quoting Noel

"Do you really want to be the rebound girl?" - Julie

"... while I have this massive, unrealistic amount of work to do..." - Noel

"So, let's make a pact..." - Noel

"Only because everyone is all consumed..." - Felicity

"First you mock the system, now you want the system." - Elena

"Arghh!" - Noel

SWEATER COUNT

The holiday season was good to us. There were seven, count 'em, seven sweaters,

plus character ackowledgements (yes, plural) of Felicity's wardrobe.

"You're always wearing sweaters..." - Anti-depressant guy

"I don't think so. Everyone I've seen's been pretty well dressed." - Meghan in response to Noel's "Have you seen Felicity?"

ELENA'S SYSTEM

1. Consult the notes.

2. Read the card.

3. Check the clock

4. Eat an M&M (but only one!)

The Countdown

36 hours till finals

Noel and Felicity attempt to destory library property in a hormonay frenzy.

It is almost 9:00PM EST.

33 hours 42 minutes till finals

Ben and Julie are whispering in the library.

Clever usage of subtitles. (Really, I mean that.)

32 hours 45 minutes till finals

Fruit guy is peddling in the library. (How many libraries ARE there?)

"Are you aware of the connection between vitamin C and infertility?"

"I don't wanna get pregnant, I just wanna pass my finals"

31 hours 32 minutes till finals

Ben and Felicity vs. The Bald Hiccup Guy

Hiccup Solutions

Holding your breath

Drinking from the other side of the glass

Breathing into a paper bag

Holding a penny between your toes and thinking of three bald men

29 hours 54 minutes till finals

Fruit guy finds success, using Julie to pitch the product.

Julie learns about supply and demand.

Noel drinks the Smart Pow-Der, a suggestion from Meghan.

28 hours 22 minutes till finals

Beets make Noel "like this".

Things we've learned

Felicity and Noel are a "thing".

Something's up with Ben and Julie.

People die of indoor barbequing everyday.

Barbequing in a dorm room is not "a typical human reaction to hunger".

Meghan actually studies and maintains a social life.

College students will buy fruit for a dollar (sometimes two) if approached in the right manner.

Elena is partial to her M&M's.

The people in the lounge are easliy annoyed.

An episode with subtitles, Ella Fitzgerald and Smart Pow-Der can be fun, even if it is "Felicity."
